Cory Hinkle's plays include Little Eyes, SadGrrl13, Phosphorescence, The Killing of Michael X and Cipher. He is a co-creator of Fissures (lost and found), which was co-commissioned by Actors Theatre of Louisville and the Playwrights' Center and premiered at the 2010 Humana Festival. He has been produced or developed at the ART Williamstown Theatre Festival, SPF/Summer Play Festival, Illusion Theater, Bay Area Playwrights Festival, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, Ars Nova, Salvage Vanguard, P73 Productions, Hangar Theatre and Redeye Collective, among others. Hinkle has received multiple MacDowell Colony fellowships, is a former resident at the Hermitage Artist Retreat and Tofte Lake Center and a recipient of a Jerome Travel and Study Grant. He received two Jerome playwriting fellowships through the Playwrights' Center where he is a Core Member and a member playwright of the Workhaus Collective. His work is published by Heinemann, Playscripts Inc. and Dramatic Publishing. He earned his M.F.A. in play_writing from Brown University.
