Craig Wright's plays include The Pavilion, John Dory, The Big Numbers, The Play of Homesteading and Adventures While Preaching the Gospel of Beauty. His work has been produced and developed at theaters around the country including the Denver Center Theatre Company, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Arden Theatre Company, Manhattan Punch Line, the Philadelphia Festival Theatre for New Plays, the Children's Theatre Company, Company One and Theatre X. Wright has received two Jerome Fellowships from The Playwrights' Center, numerous grants from the Pew Charitable Trust, a Minnesota State Arts Board Fellowship and a 1995-1996 fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. He was also the recipient of a 1997-1998 McKnight Advancement Grant from the McKnight Foundation. Wright holds a degree from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities and makes his home in St. Paul, Minn.
