Raggedy Ann and Andy

This is a simple and charming script, easily adaptable to a flexible and large (or smallish) cast. We don't have our own venue, so we must carry all of our sets, props, and costumes with us. This show was easy to work with a bare stage and simple set/props. We used black lights for the taffy mine and an ensemble of actors to become trees, greedy appendages, and the witch's castle. It was lots of fun, and the story is just so sweet. We got lots of compliments.

The second night was S.R.O., with children sitting in the pit ... many children had come back to see Raggedy Ann and Andy again! Children were screaming with laughter. If you're looking for a children's play, this is it! Vivid characters, fun to do, impossible to over-act, no slow spots.
