Synopsis

Originally played by an all-female cast, this prize-winning drama may also be performed by a mixed cast. Eve is the central figure. We watch her pass from the innocent rapture of her first awakening to her encounter with the Spirits of Evil. We follow her rebellion and her new awakening as she gathers confidence so that after the conflict of Cain and Abel, she emerges as the valiant woman of faith and love—the mother of all living.

Customer Reviews

A fresh retelling of a familiar story, full of discovery, loss and redemption. Simple and complex in a single breath. Our production earned us 1st Place at the Kentucky State Drama Festival!

Hints, Tips, and Tricks

Our "Abel" came out of the Spirits of Higher Order chorus. Our "Cain" came from the Devils' chorus. And our "Adam" was part of the Spirits of Good chorus. We had a live percussionist on stage creating rhythm and sound effects. And we found black and white costumes and set very effective.
