Synopsis

This innovative show features songs and sketches as characters move through comic and serious contemporary fables celebrating childhood. Young audiences can immediately identify with these situations. The roles embody people, animals, inanimate objects, sounds, movement and magical transformations of the body and spirit. Whether whimsically looking at a childhood battle of the sexes, gently exploring the mystery of death in the touching story of a girl and her dog, or saluting the pleasures of a best friend, Magic Theatre II is a continually unfolding kaleidoscope.

Customer Reviews

This is wonderful children's theatre. I use them for 5th/6th grade performances. You can cast many or few. Gives the young ones interaction with the audience, plus using their imagination to create the many scenes.

Barry B. Nyquist, The Prairie School, Racine, WI

Great fun and good training for young actors. The adults in the audience were as enthusiastic about the show as the kids.

Jane Meier, Youth Summer Camp, Concord, N.H.
